July 2008 - aura brings on new expertise in IT

Tony Bernardis

Tony joined aura in 2008 and is responsible for the IT systems support and development projects.

Tony has over 15 years experience in IT having worked for a wide variety of industries, he started his career working for Close Brothers bank, and has worked in Manufacturing (Northern Foods), Media and Publishing (Emap), Logisitics (Eimskip), Automotive retail industry (AAA Auto in central europe) and more recently in household and motor Insurance (RBS and WMIA). He has an extensive track record in delivering business IT systems (such as new Finance, ERP, CRM, E-Business systems and MI reporting suites) as well as building and managing integrated international IT networks and teams. Some of Tony’s key work has attracted the national press to publish several case studies.

Born in Lisbon Portugal and of Italian nationality and brought up in Peterborough, Tony can speak Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and some Czech and German, His main interests are Motorsports (including riding his off road motorcycle in local competitions) and enjoying good food and holidays.
