“there is no business on a dead planet” - David Brower, environmentalist
As individuals and as an organisation, we recognise we have a responsibility to take steps – however small – to be sustainable and considerate of others in our approach. CSR is not merely a ‘badge’ at aura, it is a genuinely upheld philosophy. Our commitment manifests itself throughout the day to day running of the business.

Our Approach

‘Green Shoots’ is our in-house environmental task force, which promotes awareness and actions to reduce our carbon footprint through initiatives such as:
Reduce, reuse, recycle – staff are reminded to do so by communications throughout the premises, for example posters in the kitchen displaying our fuel consumption.
Encouraging use of car sharing, public transport and cycling to work (provision of storage and shower facilities)
Many of our initiatives also positively impact on our clients and suppliers – and it is interesting to note how many of our solutions come with ‘built in’ sustainability for example:
-
Using ‘Real’ automotive Mystery Shoppers, thus avoiding the need to doctor cars and waste fuel, oil, parts etc.

Forest Stewardship Council
We purchase and use FSC-certified paper in our postal questionnaires and internal stationary. This is to contribute and help conservation and manage responsibly our company's footprint impact on the local forests.
“the future will be green or not at all” - Sir Jonathon Porrit, UK Government Environmental Adviser

In the Wider Community
We have a chosen charity, the Thames Valley Adventure Playground, which provides amenities for children and adults with special needs. Each year we fundraise through events and by direct donations – for example giving the money saved by sending electronic Christmas card rather than printed.
